Introduction
Frexalondrex is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit frexalondrex.world or use our card and print making services. We comply with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand) and the Information Privacy Principles set out in that Act.
Legal Basis for Collection
We collect and use your personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so, including: with your consent; to perform our contract with you (processing and delivering your orders); and where necessary for our legitimate interests (such as improving our services and maintaining records), where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Information We Collect
We may collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Name and contact information (email address, phone number, postal address)
- Project details and design specifications for custom print orders
- Payment and billing information for completed transactions
- Communication records between you and our studio
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfil your card and print making orders
- Communicate with you about your projects and inquiries
- Send order confirmations, updates, and delivery notifications
- Improve our printing services and customer experience
- Maintain records for quality assurance and reorder purposes
Data Protection
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your design files and personal details are stored securely and accessed only by authorised personnel involved in completing your print orders.
Third-Party Sharing and Overseas Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties except as necessary to complete your order (such as shipping providers) or as required by law. Any third parties we work with are obligated to keep your information confidential. If we disclose personal information to overseas recipients, we will ensure that adequate safeguards apply (such as comparable privacy protections, binding agreements, or your express consent) as required by the Privacy Act 2020.
Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information (we will attach a statement of correction if we do not agree with a requested change)
- Request deletion of your personal data, where we have no lawful reason to retain it
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time; withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal
If you believe we have not handled your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, you may make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz). We will cooperate with any investigation and endeavour to resolve concerns directly with you first.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information and design files for a reasonable period to facilitate reorders and provide ongoing service. Project files are typically retained for 12 months after order completion unless you request earlier deletion. We do not keep personal information longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, in line with the Privacy Act 2020.
Privacy Breaches
If a privacy breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as required by the Privacy Act 2020 and will notify you as soon as practicable after we become aware of the breach. We will take steps to contain the breach and mitigate any harm.
Marketing and Electronic Messages
We send commercial electronic messages (such as marketing emails) only where we have your consent or another lawful basis under the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007. Every such message will include a clear, functional way to unsubscribe. You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
